GRANTS RECEIVED FOR HERITAGE AND HISTORY TOUR

The Northeast Nebraska Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Council recently received a Norfolk Area Home Realty grant of $150 from Steve Osborn, Broker, Owner, and Salesman. The company has been providing funds monthly to local non-profits that are supporting Nebraska’s 150th Sesquicentennial. The funds will be used for the “Heritage and History Tour of Knox County” coming up on Friday, September 22nd.
The Nebraska Sesquicentennial Commission has approved this tour as a Signature Event of the 2017 Sesquicentennial. This event fits perfectly with the mission of the Commission they said and are excited to add it to the Nebraska 150 Celebration.
Earlier this year the RC&D received a $500 grant from the Knox County Visitor’s Committee to help with marketing the tour. Watch for more information on the details of the tour.
