A Grand Day for Grandparents and their Grandchildren – Saturday, August 1, 2015; 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at The Historic Mars Campground (7 miles north of Royal, NE). A day filled with fun and adventure for Grandparents and their Grandchildren begins with exploring animal tracks with the Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Activity Trailer.
At noon there will be a wiener roast over a campfire. Following lunch, the adventure continues with an artifact search in the Verdigris Creek and learning all about rocks.
