RC&D Endowment

Most people will leave quite a bit for their children, but what will you leave for your community? Have you considered what your community has done for you. The Northeast Nebraska RC&D (Resource, Conservation & Development) is uniquely
positioned to help all the communities in the 6 county area. The Northeast Nebraska RC&D has an endowment through the Nebraska Community
Foundation which will allow us to continue our
efforts to address issues important to this region.

Robert PorterThe Endowment is named after Robert Porter formerly of Wayne Nebraska. He was an integral part of the organization we call the RC&D. Bob served as President of the Northeast RC&D, and also served as a representative to the National RC&D. He was also very active in the many committees on the local board.

Robert passionately believed in the people of this area; the necessity of a group of volunteers to help in areas of need, to enhance the quality of life for the residents and those who are looking for an area to settle with their families. He lived out those desires by using his expertise to expedite and guarantee the mission of the Northeast Nebraska RC&D would have successes in many areas.

You have the opportunity to continue his legacy by contacting the Northeast RC&D to find out how your donation can move the many projects forward with a large or small financial commitment.

~ We thank you, and future generations will thank you!
